Joy Experience quickly pivoted to virtual conferences within a few days after the United States was shutdown due to COVID 19. The full day conference included entertainment, keynote, panels, breakout sessions, and over 650+ one-to-one private meetings between women CEOs & corporate partners including Shell, Toyota, Apple and more.

Joy Experience had the privilege of planning the California American Water's Supplier Diversity Program, a three day event focused on providing key education on effectively integrating diversity & inclusion in your corporate supply chain through education and connecting qualified diverse suppliers to key decision makers. Participation from representatives all over the country, including key decision makers from California American Water, their parent company, American Water and Prime Suppliers to both will be in attendance.

California Water Association (CWA) is brought together water companies, large prime suppliers and diverse suppliers for a two-day Meet The Primes event to learn and connect virtually. Diverse Suppliers had multiple opportunities to present, connect and hear from water company executives, supplier diversity representatives and prime supplier for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 opportunities.

Partnered with Facebook to help identify diverse-owned event vendors in approximately 25 US cities to support the Facebook Community Boost program. Due to extensive experience in the Supplier Diversity and Procurement industry, we successfully identified and evaluate minority, women, veteran, or LGBT majority-owned firms for each FB Community Outreach event. https://www.facebook.com/boost.

Event Name: WBEC Pacific - The New Method Conference at Microsoft Headquarters

Overview:

Joy Experience liaised with WBEC Pacific to organize facilities and manage all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, attendee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. Worked closely with client to develop concept, design, full planning, and onsite strategic management and developed client relationships with top event sponsors and corporate participants (Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Chevron, Federal Reserve Bank San Francisco, Kaiser Permanente, Snohomish County, Soundtransit) and their internal communications team to drive buyer engagement and participation. Joy Experience also created event and registration website, including in house graphic design services.

Joy Experience was able to design a special experience for the celebration of Debra Reed. The team created a month long celebration for Debra L. Reed Retirement Celebration, Sempra team members joined Debbie Reed for an afternoon of global cuisine, activities, opportunities to win some amazing prizes, and help her beat her personal goal to be the top fundraiser for Padres Pedal the Cause and cancer research.

Joy Experience planned a full three day conference for women CEOs. Every day women entrepreneurs choose to OWN it!

We did it! NAWBO made history under the dedicated leadership of Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire and Senator Hannah Beth Jackson. Senate Bill 826 was passed by Governor Brown on September 30, 2018. The bill requires the addition of a woman to all publicly-held corporate boards headquartered in California. Propel 2019 policy tracks will focus on providing information and training to make women feel confident in considering advocacy, commission work, and political positions.
